Solid oak, rustic, double extending farmhouse dining table

A lovely, fully refurbished French country farmhouse table with 2 extension leaves.

 

It is 100% solid French rustic oak, with a lightly aged and distressed finish to add to the rustic character.

Very nice quality, with pegged joints used in the top panels and frame.

 

It comes with 2 extension pieces, giving 3 different size options up to 2.6m (8ft 6in) and seating 10 comfortably when fully extended. Also, when only using 1 leaf, the top can be central, or offset to 1 side for a full seating position which is quite useful. Please see photos which show this. The extensions both store under the table when not in use.

 

The original finish was worn, so it has been refurbished and finished in a natural oil and wax to protect and bring out the lovely natural features and grain variation of the rustic oak.

 

Excellent condition. There is a small gap between edge of extension leaves when both are fitted, just due to very slight movement of the oak over time, as shown in last photo. Does not affect use at all.

The top does can be removed for transport and access, but the frame does not come apart.
