Large, solid oak farmhouse dining table by Antix of France

Antix furniture is made from solid French oak that was specially selected for its rustic character and grain, retaining the natural knots, splits and grain variation so that each piece is unique. The oak was then further distressed by hand for an aged appearance.

Lovely quality French farmhouse table in excellent condition. Made using traditional tenon and pegged joints on the top and legs so very sturdy. There are 2 useful drawers on one side.

 

The table is in the Antix P10 'Candlewax' distressed finish (like an antiqued white oak finish) and the oak has been 'aged' with various traditional distressing techniques, done at the time of making to add to the rustic character. Please see close up photos.

The top can be removed for transport or access if needed but the legs and frame do not come apart.
