Unique, refurbished vintage writing bureau.

The original stain and varnish on this bureau was worn and marked, so it has been refurbished and updated.

It is painted in 'Black Forest', a deep, dark green from the Frenchic furniture paint range, and all the brass handles and hardware have been cleaned and polished.

​

The support arms come out as the writing flap is lowered and this does have the original working lock and key. The drawers are dovetailed and all run smoothly.

​

This bureau dates from 1950s, so a few small signs of its age and previous use as it is a vintage item, but refurbished to give a new lease of life, and is a very practical, and unique item of furniture.
